What Is Anodizing?
Anodizing is an electrochemical process. It thickens the natural oxide layer that forms on aluminum, then seals it. That layer is bonded to the metal—it doesn’t sit on top of it. You can’t peel it. You can’t scratch it off. It’s part of the structure now.

Why It Matters
Other finishes can’t compete. Paint and enamel burn. Powder coat chips. Raw aluminum oxidizes. None of them were good enough for the Tempest. We wanted something you could use every day, clean with ease, and pass on when you're done.
